so let's see recent events..... hrmmmm ok well i just recently became an addict.... of knitting... i've got 3 projects going... 1 of which the knitting end of it is done... i just need to sew it all up and make it purdy....
i'm working on an ipod cozy for jim lol. he made the smart ass remark this morning that his ipod was chilly so i needed to hurry up... the bastard. he better use it too cause i'm working hard on it just for him.
last weekend i burned myself - it is pretty nasty but i'll spare you the graphic photos.... lets just say it's on the side of my stomach and i can't sit properly because of it. basically i'm a doof and wasn't paying enough attention while going to drain a pot of boiled potatoes... the water splashed up at me and viola! shirt joins skin... kelly tears away shirt... shirt steals skin.... lovely. so i've been nursing this nasty puppy for a few days now... and am still in a lot of pain. if i had insurance i'd have some gnarly pain killers and some sort of extra strength burn cream. but alas our government blows and we can't afford insurance for me, so i'm sticking with 2nd skin.... which i may add is pretty freakin awesome.
so lets see what did i accomplish today? well i scrubbed the bathroom ( not the floor yet... but i did scrub down the shower and tub and tossed out a bunch of expired stuff...) cleaned up the kitchen. again not the floor.... but i'll get to that eventually i suppose....
oh and i redesigned the invites for the wedding. as per our fashion we are doing them ourselves... so i've figured out the measurements for the outer cards themselves and how much cardstock we'll need to procure. i also dabbled with the design for my wedding tattoo.... i'm not quite happy with it just yet, but i'm hoping that my creative mamas can give me some advice for it.... as for where i want it? no idea... that'll fall into place when i decide exactly what i want.
so let's see... plans for this evening.... make dinner... shower and shave ( if i can bend down in the shower this time) my legs are looking like a werewolf's right now....attempt to get the ipod cozy finished... which i don't think will be that tough... i think that is enough for tonight... i'm out of it lately and in some pain.... so i'll aim low and shock myself.
and one month from today my baby turns 3!!!! we are having a superman birthday... how kick ass is that?
well that is all for now i suppose... i need to keep at this blogging thing.... down with the procrastination!!!! maybe tomorrow......
